TULLY
Comedy/Drama, 2018, US, 96 min, PG

Director: Jason Reitman (Young Adult, Juno, Up in the Air)

See how the mother half lives.
Marlo (Charlize Theron), a mother of three including a newborn, is gifted a night nanny by her brother. Hesitant to accept the extravagance at first, Marlo comes to form a unique bond with the thoughtful, surprising, and sometimes challenging young nanny named Tully (Mackenzie Davis). Theron said she gained nearly 50 pounds for the role in a period of three and a half months, and ate around the clock to keep the weight on. It took her a year and a half to take the weight off after filming had wrapped. Now that’s sacrificing for your art! Tully was filmed in Vancouver, BC.
